Ambiorix Top 40 – 2025-01

Over the past two years, I’ve stopped posting my current monthly favorite tracks on Facebook! I quit doing that because there was quite a bit of confusion, as I also compile a monthly list of songs from the same month exactly half a century ago. Recently, however, a few friends, former colleagues, and music enthusiasts have shown interest in seeing those lists again. Last year, I redirected them to my Spotify profile, where a monthly update had always been available. But as it turns out, it’s not as easy to find as I thought.

That’s why, starting this month, I’ll once again be sharing the recent songs that resonate with me most in a Top 40 format—complete with Spotify and YouTube links—on Facebook, so to speak! The fact that I won’t be providing the breathless commentary that accompanies my newly made lists of 1975 releases will likely be met with a sigh of relief by many. And for those who, after a while, can’t see the forest for the trees—take comfort in the thought that you won’t be alone.
