Das Rock – De Zappa – 15 December 2023
What do you get when you combine a cold winter evening with a packed pub, a crew of seasoned musicians, and a hefty dose of StuBru classics? Exactly: a sizzling performance by Das Rock at Café De Zappa.
Zappa isn’t a big venue, but that’s exactly what makes it so special. You’re practically standing on the guitarist’s toes, and you can feel every bassline rattle through your ribcage. On December 13th, it was Das Rock’s turn to shake things up – and they did so with flair. Allright.

A Set Full of Energy and Recognition
From the very first chords, it was clear: Das Rock plays with heart and soul. Frontman Eddy (Demeyer) pulled the crowd in with his trademark charisma – a true frontman in every sense. The band delivered a set packed with classics that made it impossible not to sing and move along. Allright.
What sets Das Rock apart from your average cover band is their genuine interaction with the crowd. People sang along, danced wildly – and even squatted (!). The atmosphere was both electric and intimate. Allright.

Once again, Café De Zappa proved to be the perfect breeding ground for live music: small-scale, full of character, and packed with people who know why they’re there. Bands like Das Rock and venues like De Zappa clearly bring out the best in each other. It’s not about glitz or perfection – it’s about the core: music as a shared experience.
That night reminded us why live music hasn’t lost an ounce of its power. No flashy visuals or over-the-top showmanship – just people with instruments, passion, and a deep love for what they do.
And sometimes, that’s exactly what you need.
Allright.
