Producer, Musician, Pioneer: The World of Pascal Deweze
Pascal Deweze is a Belgian musician, singer, guitarist, and producer, born in 1973 in Asse. He has been part of several well-known bands, including Metal Molly, Sukilove, Roosbeef, and Broken Glass Heroes.
His musical career began in the 1990s with Metal Molly, an indie rock band that gained recognition with the album Surgery for Zebra and the cult hit Orange. Later, he formed Sukilove, releasing several albums and contributing to a Beatles compilation for the British magazine MOJO.
Touching base on Metal Molly, Broken Glass Heroes, Sukilove, Kipgeweer, Mitsoobishy Jacson, The Bonnie Blues, Roosbeef, Chitlin’ Fooks, Shadowgraphc City, Gruppo di Pawlowski & more.
Beyond his work as a musician, Deweze is also a renowned producer. In his Studio Jezus in Hoboken, he has collaborated with artists such as Bed Rugs, The Van Jets, Tubelight, The Germans, and Creature with the Atom Brain. In 2017, he released his first solo album, Cult of Yes, and nowadays, he performs with the Pascal Deweze Non Jazz Trio, where he experiments with krautrock, modular synths, and danceable grooves.
